Carbon Filled Carbon Filled Carbon Filled
PTFE bushings – 25% Carbon Filled
Carbon-filled PTFE bushings benefit from increased compressive strength, decreased deformation during heavy loads, and greater tolerance to wear than virgin PTFE.
Since carbon is conductive, it is ideal for PTFE bushings requiring higher thermal conductivity than PTFE itself, and because of its electrical conductivity it can become static dissipative. Carbon in the form of powder or fiber may be added. It may be abrasive, but not as much as glass.
PTFE bushings – 25% Carbon Filled bushings contain 75% virgin PTFE and 25% recycled carbon fillers. It is available with a hardness of 67 shore D in black colour.
The carbon fillers boost the PTFE’s creep resistance, longevity, and thermal conductivity. The material provides great wear characteristics and is highly appropriate for water use. It is a common component in the hydraulic industry for rotational dynamic seals and gaskets.
