Product Description
PBI (Chinese name: polybenzimidazole) is today’s highest grade engineering plastics.
Features:
1. High temperature resistance long-term operating temperature 310℃, instantaneous tolerance temperature up to 760℃.
2. Corrosion resistance remains stable in acid and alkali environment.
3. High strength Its strength is twice that of Vespel products, the highest strength of existing engineering plastics.
4. High hardness, its hardness is half of glass.
5. High purity ash can be controlled below 2ppm. It is suitable for semiconductor industry, special glass industry, where the performance of plastic products is required to be higher.
Features: The maximum allowable operating temperature in the air is extremely high (can work continuously at 280 degrees, the maximum operating temperature for a short time can reach 450 degrees). Excellent mechanical strength and stiffness retention, excellent wear resistance and frictional properties, very low linear coefficient of thermal expansion, inherently low flammability, high purity in ion contaminated environments, low exhaust (dry materials).
