Overview of PFA Film:
PFA films are versatile materials with the capability for thermoforming, heat-sealing, plastic welding, or bonding. These films are closely related to FEP but have a higher melting point, ranging from 302°C to 310°C, compared to FEP’s 260°C to 280°C. Additionally, PFA film is exceptionally inert, meeting US FDA regulations for safe food contact. It offers remarkable anti-stick, low-friction properties, and boasts a high dielectric strength, exceeding 7000 volts per mil for a 1 mil thickness. PFA films are non-conductive, hydrophobic, non-flammable, and non-charring. We take pride in providing these films with exceptional reliability and property retention, and they can also be obtained with adhesive for easy installation in our tape section. Our PFA films are available in thicknesses ranging from .001″ to .020″.
