Furthermore, it exhibits flexibility, inertness, and minimal friction.

Solid Premium Virgin PTFE bushings offer resistance to nearly all substances, except for fluorine, molten alkali metals, and halogens. They also exhibit exceptional sliding properties.
While Premium Virgin PTFE excels in numerous aspects, it may not be suitable for high mechanical loads due to its limited elasticity, vulnerability to cold flow, time-dependent plastic deformation (creeping), and weaker thermal conductivity compared to other materials. Additionally, it has a high coefficient of expansion and a limited load-bearing capacity as a substrate. It also has lower abrasive wear resistance.
For applications with low mechanical strain, pure PTFE seals are preferable. However, for higher mechanical demands, we offer a range of PTFE bushings with various fillers, such as bronze, Mos2, glass, stainless steel, graphite, and more.
