The properties of the PTFE coated glass cloth tapes ensure ensure they are an excellent choice for use with cooling chambers and freezing temperatures as well as high temperature working conditions.
Our PTFE coated glass tapes are engineered to keep and enhance the distinctive properties of PTFE. By adding a glass fabric to the design, we are able to obtain the added benefits of dimensional stability and durability. By te additional acrylic adhesive layer this tape has better initial tack during use.
The PTFE is coated onto one side of fibre glass substrate. This PTFE coated glass cloth tape offers high levels of temperature resistance;
The base material for this tape is glass fabric which is PTFE impregnated, and coated with acrylic adhesive, which can stand high temperatures. The PTFE coated glass fabric tape we offer has great electrical, mechanical and chemical characteristics.
PTFE coated glass adhesive Tape – 0.13 mm is used in various electric appliances and warming seal bars as primary isolations, chute liners, gaskets, bearing surfaces, tabletop covers, guide rails and roll coverings. Low surface friction; resistant to abrasion.
The PTFE coated glass tape – 0.13 mm of this type comes as a standard with one side self-adhesive. Also available are PTFE glass coated tapes without an adhesive layer (no adhesive).
Applications
PTFE adhesive tapes are often used as a release tape for the protection of sealing jaws and heat-sealing wires on equipment such as bag and L- sealing machines. They can also be found in vacuum and blister packing operations too.
