PTFE lined elbows are manufactured with angles of 90°, 60°, 45° or 30°. Other angles are available on request. Please ask us for more information. 90° PTFE lined elbows are supplied with one fixed and one loose flange as standard. All 45° elbows come with fixed flanges. Alternatives are available on request. PTFE lined fittings and elbows up to 10″ diam. are manufactured in one part. Items of 12″ diam. or above come in two parts.

PTFE Lining of metal elbows and chemical equipment parts with fluoropolymers is necessary in order to protect equipment from the influence of corrosive mediums (except for molten alkali metals and their solutions in liquid ammonia, as well as for chlorine trifluoride and fluorine), or to work with extra-pure substances. The product we use for lining is fluoroplastic-4D. PTFE lined elbows are produced by the extrusion method according to the technical standard
