PTFE Scrim for Filter Applications
Our PTFE needle felt is a specialized fabric crafted by combining PTFE scrim with PTFE staple fiber. Through various post-treatment processes, it can be tailored into PTFE needle felt with a membrane or PTFE impregnated needled felt. This versatile material is ideally suited for the creation of 100 percent PTFE filter bags, catering to a wide range of operational conditions and filtration precision requirements.
In demanding environments characterized by high corrosiveness, elevated temperatures, and high humidity, the 100 percent PTFE needle felt is the preferred choice. Currently, it finds extensive use in applications such as waste incineration, medical waste disposal, and the chemical industry.
Key Specifications:
- Maximum Width of PTFE Needle Felt: 2.2 meters
- Temperature Tolerance: Up to 270°C
- Standard Weight Options: 750gsm, 800gsm
- Finish Treatments Available: Singeing, Calendaring, Heat Setting
PTFE, commonly known as Teflon, represents one of the most exceptional chemical fiber materials. This fabric boasts outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and is virtually insoluble in any known solvents. Furthermore, PTFE exhibits remarkable heat resistance and maintains a low coefficient of friction, making it exceptionally easy to clean.
