EUROPLEX PPSU Sheet Overview – Features and Benefits
EUROPLEX PPSU Sheet Overview: EUROPLEX PPSU sheets are the preferred choice for aircraft interior applications due to their exceptional fire performance. These sheets, available in both opaque and transparent flameproof versions, meet stringent FST (Flame/Smoke/Tox) requirements according to FAR 25.853 and ABD 0031. They also adhere to the OSU Heat Release Test (FAR 25.853 (d)) specifications. EUROPLEX PPSU is highly regarded for large-scale components in aircraft cabins, offering high stability and chemical resistance. Opaque sheets feature a matte surface structure (hair cell) in various colors, while transparent sheets have smooth surfaces on both sides, also available in different colors. Functional surface coatings, such as scratchproof coatings, can be added as an option. These sheets can be easily processed with standard plastic processing equipment, with opaque sheets used for paneling walls, doors, and ceilings, and transparent sheets for cabin window elements.
Features and Benefits of EUROPLEX PPSU Sheet:
- Suitable for continuous service at temperatures up to 190°C, thanks to its high heat deflection temperature.
- Excellent mechanical properties maintained over a wide temperature range, including low temperatures.
- Exceptional chemical resistance, setting it apart from other amorphous materials.
