Polycarbonate Tube 20/14
Experience exceptional quality, top-notch performance, and unmatched durability with our Polycarbonate Tubes, which are the clearest extruded tubes available in the market today. These tubes are renowned for their impeccable optics and a flawlessly smooth, striation-free surface.
Our Polycarbonate Tubes are optically pure and find versatile applications in stand and exhibition construction, furniture and interior design, as well as various technical uses like in reactors. While they offer reasonable UV stability and weather resistance, they are not intended for extended outdoor use, as prolonged exposure may cause yellowing.
Elevate your design projects in the architectural lighting industry with our Polycarbonate Tubes. Our Satin Frost Polycarbonate Tubes, in particular, offer innovative solutions that work exceptionally well in lighting and architectural applications. Their white or frosted satin finishes deliver excellent diffused lighting, creating a velvety, non-glare surface and enabling impressive lighting effects.
Crafting with Polycarbonate Tubes is a breeze when you have the right tools. However, it’s important to use high cutting speeds and effective cooling due to their low heat conduction, which can lead to overheating and localized thermal stress. Avoid excessive friction, as it can cause melting and result in a sticky surface, making machining difficult. When drilling, always use a water-based cooling lubricant (such as an emulsion) to prevent issues. In some cases, annealing may be required to eliminate internal stress.
