PETP rod is the abbreviation of English Polyethylene terephthalate, referred to as PET board or PETP board. Chinese meaning: polyterephthalic acid plastic, referred to as polyester board.
PETP rod is mainly made of polyester raw material, extruded by extruder at high temperature, and extruded through different caliber abrasive mouth to obtain different thickness plate. The main ingredients include polyethylene terephthalate PET and polyethylene terephthalate PBT. Polyethylene terephthalate is also commonly known as polyester resin, commonly known as polyester resin. It is a polycondensation of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, and together with PBT is collectively known as thermoplastic polyester, or saturated polyester. At present, PET and PBT together as thermoplastic polyester, become one of the five major engineering plastics.
The main features of PETP stick are:
High mechanical strength, stiffness and hardness. Good sliding property and wear resistance, good electrical insulation, very good creep resistance, low and stable friction coefficient Excellent wear resistance (better than nylon), very good dimensional stability (better than POM), physiologically inert (suitable for contact with food). Good weather resistance and chemical resistance, low water absorption, weak acid and organic solvent resistance, but not hot water immersion, alkali resistance.
