However, it’s essential to use high cutting speeds and effective cooling to prevent overheating and local thermal stress. Melting can occur with excess friction, especially in Acrylic tubes, leading to a tacky surface and difficulty in machining. When drilling, always use water-based cooling lubricant to prevent issues. Annealing may be necessary for eliminating internal stress.
