Crafted from extruded acrylic material, these PMMA rods retain the workable properties of acrylic sheets but take on the cylindrical form of a rod.
Two distinct manufacturing techniques are employed in creating PMMA acrylic rods.
The first method involves casting the PMMA acrylic material into the desired rod diameter, known as cast acrylic rods, providing the finest optical finish. Additionally, cast acrylic rods offer a wide range of diameters, reaching up to 200 mm. The second technique is extruding the acrylic into the required cap diameter, resulting in extruded acrylic rods. This method offers a cost-effective alternative to cast acrylic when aesthetic considerations are less critical.
