The brown Expanded PTFE Tape with silicat is a gasket tape made from expanded PTFE with a silicat filler and a modified structure. By adding the silicat and through the patented processing method the mechanical properties of the gasket tape are considerably improved.

The result is a substantially reduced cold-flow tendency, a clearly improved recovery and excellent sealing properties in systems with temperature cycles. The tape features a self-adhesive backing for easy installation. The used glue has a very high adhesive force.  

The brown EPTFE gasket tape is especially designed for applications in high-temperature environments up to 200°C, for example heat exchangers, flue gas plants, compensators and pipe flanges.
