Our Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, with a hardness rating of 65 Shore and a tensile strength of 5 MPa, is a general-purpose copolymer formed from butadiene and acrylonitrile. With a relatively high acrylonitrile content, it exhibits exceptional resistance to petroleum-based oils and hydrocarbon fuels across a temperature range of -40°F to +250°F.

However, it’s essential to note that NBR is not resistant to weathering, sunlight, or ozone unless it is specially formulated to withstand these factors.
For applications involving highly polar solvents such as acetone, MEK, ozone, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and nitro hydrocarbons, it’s advisable to explore alternative materials, as Nitrile rubber may not be suitable.
