Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods
Molybdenum Sulfide-Infused Polyamide 6 Rods
Our PA6+MoS2 rods boast exceptional properties. The introduction of molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) into polyamide 6 (PA6) enhances rigidity, hardness, and dimensional stability through its nucleating effect. However, this transformation may lead to a reduction in impact strength. Nevertheless, the added MoS2 significantly improves the material’s sliding friction characteristics.
These rods are constructed from a premium cast nylon material, and the incorporation of MoS2 serves to augment crystallinity. This, in turn, elevates the material’s overall strength without any noticeable compromise in hardness. By enhancing the crystallinity of PA6, MoS2-filled Polyamide delivers heightened surface hardness and superior abrasion resistance compared to standard cast PA6.
