Excessive friction, especially when working with Polycarbonate Tubes, can lead to melting, resulting in a tacky surface and machining difficulties. When drilling, always use a water-based cooling lubricant (e.g., an emulsion). If internal stress needs to be eliminated, annealing may be required.
